Select the spare-parts kit for the assembly being repaired
FGK kits do not all serve the same function. Bijur Delimon assigns each spare-parts kit to a specific pump assembly: FGK1 for the air motor, FGK2 for the seal assembly, FGK3 for the high-pressure valve, FGK4 for the foot valve, and FGK5 for the high-pressure piston/cylinder assembly.
Therefore, identify the location of the fault before selecting a spare-parts kit for maintenance. Choosing by appearance or relying only on the term “repair kit” may result in purchasing a kit for the correct pump series but the wrong assembly.
Match the pump series and maintenance documentation
FGK designations appear in spare-parts and maintenance documentation for PM3 pumps and the corresponding DP55 components. If the machine has previously been repaired or its version has changed, check the pump designation and current maintenance documentation before ordering the spare-parts kit.
Before dismantling a pneumatic pump or high-pressure assembly, isolate the air supply and safely release system pressure. For sealing components, the mounting surfaces and assembly sequence also directly affect sealing performance after repair.
