SKF elevator lubricator reduces vibration and maintenance
Insufficient lubrication of elevator guide rails causes vibration. This creates disturbing noise, leading to downtime, service interruptions and increased maintenance costs. Conventional elevator lubrication methods are often inaccurate, resulting in over-lubrication or insufficient lubrication. This can cause spillage, splashing onto windows and accumulation in the pit.
The SKF SYSTEM 24 elevator lubricator provides a better alternative to the conventional oil reservoir with a capillary system. It is suitable for residential and office buildings, hospitals, hotels, shopping centres and metro systems.

Time setting
After installation, the system can be set to dispense lubricant according to application needs at intervals from one month to 12 months. The correct setting is best determined by inspecting the oil film on the guide rail during maintenance. A dispensing period of 3–6 months can be expected under severe conditions with high pollution, higher temperatures and high elevator utilization. Under normal conditions, a dispensing period of 6–12 months can be expected.
